Relationship Specialist

Summary

The Relationship Specialist is assigned to communicate about The Learnatory’s in-School, After-School, Weekend, and Summer Programs with clients, customers, vendors, communities, other businesses to convince them to choose The Learnatory over any competitors. The Relationship Specialist explains what the company does, what ethics the company is bound by, and why the client, customer, community, or business should choose The Learnatory. The Relationship Specialist works as part of The Learnatory Recruitment Department. They are able to explain customers' and clients' needs and what steps should be taken by The Learnatory in order to fulfill those needs, as well as any legal boundaries that exist between the company and outside entities such as contractual obligations and legal restrictions. As such, Relationship Specialists are tasked with keeping up with communications involving the company and its clients, vendors, parents, and the community as a whole with a focus on business development. Ultimately, the Relationship Specialist works to build the customer base maintaining fluid and harmonious relationships while adhering to The Learnatory’s guidelines and standards.

Relationship Specialist Tasks

  • Cultivate new clients through referrals and calling efforts to achieve individual and team revenue goals.
  • Develop effective ways to promote brand awareness that lead to measurable business results.
  • Ensure continuity of high quality service, product delivery, and responsiveness to client needs.
  • Visits elementary, middle, and high schools speaks to groups and individual students, and meets with school counselors and administrators to promote outreach activities within assigned territory and as required to assist other recruiters.
  • Manages and coordinates community workshops, retreats, and recruitment efforts; arranges visits and tours for prospective students and parents.
  • Serves independently as the point person for internal coordination of student recruitment and enrollment management goals utilizing specific knowledge gained of admissions, registration criteria and financial aid and/or scholarship information and deadlines.
  • Coordinates and implements various recruitment programs and marketing strategies for territorial or local on-site admission programs and special events relating to targeted schools, parents, and students in the fulfillment of recruitment efforts.
  • Serves independently as territorial Specialist to develop and maintain partnerships between The Learnatory and local school systems throughout the assigned territory.
  • Coordinates participation of staff and alumni for recruitment fairs; coordinates event-specific organizational aspects, promotional materials and information from The Learnatory.
  • Organizes and implements all aspects of large, multi-departmental special events utilizing presentation and promotional materials, maintaining budgetary and operational controls, coordination skills with multiple entities and representing The Learnatory at local, statewide and national events, including Camp Fairs and other recruitment activities.
  • Promotes and represents The Learnatory at public relations events, promotional opportunities, marketing campaigns, business and committee meetings, and press and publicity functions.
  • Prepares reports and proposals, and responds to inquiries from students and minority agencies.
  • Suggests methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the Department.
  • Creates, packages, monitors and distributes resource materials for student recruitment and retention programs; develops mentorship programs; analyzes trends in recruitment and retention programs; develops strategies for program evaluation.
  • Guides and oversees the work of lower graded staff and/or student employees when engaged in directly related support activities; may participate in employee training and evaluative sessions.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.


Minimum Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree; at least 2 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
