Refund & Withdrawal Refunds & Withdrawals

Because of the costs associated with program preparation and our at-cost, not-for-profit operational expenses, please be advised of the following:


Diagnostic Assessments & Interest Inventories

Assessments and Inventories are required for admission into The Learnatory program once per year (except for Summer Camps) and are assessed an annual fee.  Fees are not refundable for any reason and may not be transferred to a future academic year.

Students who pay for testing and who are unable to test on their scheduled test date may be able to reschedule for a later test date by calling The Learnatory. A $25 change-of-date fee will be assessed.

Courses & Academic Programs (Excluding Summer Camps)

All refund requests must be made in writing and submitted to The Learnatory via e-mail. Refunds may take eight weeks to process, starting from the time a written request is received by The Learnatory.

All programs have a withdrawal processing fee, which is nonrefundable except in the following cases:

  • All course choices are closed
  • A course is cancelled due to low enrollment
  • Financial aid is not adequate for participation 
  • A student is not accepted into the program


Students dismissed for disciplinary reasons are not eligible for any refund.

Weekend Programs (Saturday Enrichment Program & Accelerated Weekend Experience)

Requests for withdrawals and refunds must be made in writing at least 30 days prior to the Saturday course start date. E-mail the request to Register@thelearnatory.org.


  • Withdrawals are subject to a processing fee of $60.
  • Deposits, Registration Fees, Testing Fees are non-refundable.
  • Students who withdraw at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start of their Session are refunded 50% of Session total amount of the Session fees, less the deposit and withdrawal processing fee.
  • The tuition is nonrefundable after 30 days prior to the Saturday course start date.
  • Students who withdraw after the start of the course are not eligible for any refund.
  • Refunds may take up to ten weeks to process.

Summer Camps
Because of the costs associated with program preparation and our at-cost, not-for-profit operational expenses, please be advised about policies regarding Summer Camp:

Requests for withdrawals and refunds must be made in writing and received by The Learnatory at least 30 days prior to the scheduled start of the Session for which the camper has registered.  E-mail the request to finance@thelearnatory.org.

  • Withdrawals are subject to a processing fee of $60.
  • Deposits of $250 are non-refundable and are considered the first part of any payment.
  • Students who withdraw between 30 days prior to the scheduled start of their Session and the start of the Session are refunded 50% of Session total amount of the Session fees, less the deposit and withdrawal processing fee.
  • Students who withdraw after the start of the program are not eligible for any refund.
  • Any equipment purchased (laptops, robots, etc.) is retained by the parent and student. 
  • Supply Fees are not refundable nor returnable to the parent nor student.
  • Refunds may take up to ten weeks to process.
